MySmartPrice leaker Yogesh Brar claims that the OnePlus 10/10T won’t come with the iconic Hasselblad camera branding that the OnePlus Brand, along with its Oppo sister phone makers, made so popular.
In many ways, the OnePlus 10 Pro’s design is similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro, with the square camera island seamlessly blending transitions into the right-side frame. There are three cameras in the suite: a 50MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture that uses the ubiquitous Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Unfortunately, there is no zoom camera, but then again, OnePlus had to differentiate the more affordable member of the OnePlus 10-series.
In terms of the rest of the OnePlus 10T’s specs, it features the same excellent 6.7-inch 120Hz HDR panel that Oppo Brand and OnePlus Brand have been using for some time and regularly earn their rightful place in our ranking of the top displays. They often feature dynamic refresh rates, excellent color reproduction, and gamut coverage that is second only to Google’s Pixel phones.
Next up is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which has a slightly higher clock speed than the processor in, for instance, the Galaxy S22 series smartphone. The phone will be available with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
OnePlus’ upcoming upper midrange also surprises positively with its incredible 150W fast charger, which is capable of charging the 4800 mAh battery when you finish your morning routine. The OnePlus 10T could be launched next month if the finalized design is put into mass production in July.
Given the lack of a zoom camera, we don’t expect the OnePlus 10T to cost a lot, but everything else will be top-notch, so we expect the starting price of its predecessor to remain below $800, even after factoring in rampant component inflation.
