China’s Huawei has announced that the all-new HUAWEI P50, the latest addition to its iconic P Series product line, is now available in South Africa.
As an addition to the legendary series of HUAWEI P50 Pro and HUAWEI P50 Pocket Premium Edition, the HUAWEI P50 has everything you could want in a flagship smartphone in 2022. Huawei says the brand-new P50 has it all: a stylish design, a long battery life, exceptional charging capabilities, a fantastic camera, and much more.
With a 6.5-inch display and True-Chroma display technology, the Huawei P50 produces colors with a level of accuracy comparable to professional reference displays. HUAWEI P50 features dual stereo speakers and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Huawei’s P50 camera design builds on the design of HUAWEI’s P-series cameras. The HUAWEI P50’s True-Form Dual Array Camera System combines the main camera array and the SuperZoom array. This camera hardware combines impressive image processing engines and HUAWEI XD Optics to deliver brighter, cleaner, higher-resolution images with more detail.
The camera also includes a True-Chroma Image Engine, which is designed to create images that mirror what the human eye sees. “With the Huawei P50, you can turn your subjects into legends with one of the most advanced camera systems,” says Huawei. The device comes with a 4,100mAh battery in a compact design and supports 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge for fast charging.
Pre-orders for the Huawei P50 can be placed at Huawei Store (online) for R16,999 ($1,062.26). HUAWEI P50, HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i valued at R1499 ($93.64), and a HUAWEI PowerBank valued at R699 ($43.67) are offered at a discount of R2500 ($156.12) to customers who make a partial pre-order payment of R500 ($31.22).
